MESH wins prestigious International Business Excellence Awards

 

MESH Experience received the award for ‘Marketing, Social Media and Brand’ as well as the award for ‘Overall Discipline’ for overall highest marks, as a record number of international firms competed at the third International Business Excellence (IBX) Awards. The award was presented by Mr. Ali Ibrahim, Deputy Director General at Dubai Economy.

The entry, 'One Small Metric for Brands, One Giant Leap for Brandkind' was on disrupting and replacing ineffective marketing metrics with a highly responsive one number score. What is the right Marketing metric to monitor and optimize the performance of investments? Marketers often use outdated measures that don’t have a strong relationship to spend or revenue, resulting in hours of fruitless conversations, guesswork and ultimately, wasted money.  Along with partners, Delta Air Lines, MESH developed a one number score, derived from a unique real-time data set, based on actual consumer experiences, to address this widespread problem.

The IBX Awards have quickly evolved into Dubai’s leading international business event, with hundreds of companies from over 20 countries, spanning four continents taking part. Each year the awards offer UAE firms the chance to compete with the best in the world. Dubai Economy have supported the awards through a strategic partnership since the start, helping promote Dubai’s reputation as a centre of business excellence. The IBX Awards are part of a global programme of business recognition designed by Awards International, based on a fully transparent judging process certified by Cranfield University. To win any of the 24 categories, entrants must be scored the highest by a panel of judges made up of local and international business leaders, first for their written entry, then for their finalist presentation.
